The colour of taste and smell

I am a weirdo.
I taste and smell in colours.

I would like to share with you the colours of taste and smells.

Some of them make sense, some of them do not.

For instance:
Freshly cut grass is this colour.
Whereas, chocolate tastes more like this colour or even this colour, depending on the quality and cocoa content.

Bleach smells this colour and for the longest time I thought it was actually physically blue, and was shocked when I found out it was clear.
I also don't like white dinners. A white dinner is generally one with say, new potatoes, peas and fish.
Melon tastes   this colour.
Today, the dish room smelt a browny shade of greeny blue, which after looking at all the colours I'm not sure is even a real thing. It must be, since it's not possible to imagine colours that don't exist.

The Chai Latte that I just drank tasted this colour.
The sour cream and garlic muffin I ate tasted this colour, but also this colour.

And that's a small insight into my crazy mind.

  1. I used to think bleach was white as a child. I also got petrol and oil confused.
