The humble washing machine. You don't realise how much you owe it until it stops working. I wish now that I had treated it nicer and thanked it more often. I did occasionally treat it with some Calgon, and that stuff's expensive you know. All is not lost, anyway, since it's only poorly, not completely dead. The catch on the door needs fixing, and since it won't lock, it won't wash our clothes.
I handwashed today, it made my hands real sore. They're gonna ache in the morning. I don't know how people in poor countries do it! Kudos to them. I'd just live in smelly clothes, I think.
Here's an interesting video:
Never has this rung so true. Though, at my old house we had super bad luck with washing machines. Back then, I just took my clothes home to my mummy when my machine was broken. How cliché.
I hope ours is fixed soon. Our lovely neighbours, Will and Scarlétt have offered loan of theirs when we need, so no more hand washing anyways =)
Besides the washing, I have done little today. I have exercised, twice, which is impressive for me. I need to keep it up in order to shed the pounds that are making me so huge. Why was I not born with the skinny gene? Or, more to the point, why was I brought up to eat so much? Why is it so harrrrd?!?! whinge whinge whinge.
I will lose weight, and I will not be overweight.
I love this blog, it motivates me: 101 Reasons I Hate Being Fat
SNOW?! I think I got bored of it last year. GOD. I'm getting old if snow has stopped making me excited! Maybe if it finally arrives my inner child will come right out again. I hope so.
